ABOUT bng

Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is a mandatory policy requiring developers to achieve a 10% net increase in biodiversity on development sites.  Essentially, it ensures that natural habitats are left in a measurably better state following development. BNG can be delivered on-site or, if needed, off-site by acquiring Biodiversity Units.

The Lang Partnership are enhancing biodiversity on a number of unproductive areas of Home Farm to deliver a broad range of habitat types to meet a spectrum of offsite BNG requirements across the South West.

We can structure flexible Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) packages to meet developers requirements around specific habitat types, planning timescales and cashflow, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient route through the planning process.

The Lang Partnership leverages an extensive network of environmental corridors to provide not only compliance but also a sustainable, long-term solution. Backed by a long and successful history of habitat restoration and rooted in strong family business principles.
